Ellen Kamon is a senior associate with Taylor Blessey LLP. Ms. Kamon has over 30 years of experience as a healthcare and employment lawyer. Ms. Kamon currently handles a variety of medical and dental malpractice cases.
Prior to joining Taylor Blessey, Ms. Kamon worked with hospitals in contract negotiations with payors, with insurers on bad faith issues and life, health, disability, and ERISA litigation matters. She also has extensive experience handling labor issues and employment related claims, up to and including representation at trial, in arbitration, and before the California Department of Industrial Relations, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Ms. Kamon received her Juris Doctor from the San Fernando Valley College of Law. She earned her M.A. in Sociology of Education, her M.A. in Sociology, and her B.A. in Political Science from UCLA. Ms. Kamon has a peer review rating of “AV” with Martindale Hubbell. She has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer from 2009 to 2017. Ms. Kamon is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the LA County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in California, before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Eastern District of California, Northern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
